At Front Optim Digital, we are committed to delivering exceptional results and maintaining a transparent, honest relationship with every client. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested and processed for our digital marketing and web services.
Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services. By making a payment to Front Optim Digital, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.
1. General Principles
As a professional services company, our work involves significant time, skilled labour, strategy, and resources that are committed from the moment a project begins. For this reason, our refund policy is structured to be fair to both parties — protecting our clients’ legitimate interests while recognising the irreversible nature of professional service delivery.
We always encourage clients to raise concerns early so we can resolve them before they escalate. Our first priority is always to make things right.
2. Service-Specific Refund Terms
2.1 SEO Services (Monthly Retainers)
- SEO is a long-term, cumulative discipline. Results develop over weeks and months — not days.
- We do not offer refunds on completed monthly SEO retainers. Once a month of service has commenced and work has been delivered (audits, optimisation, content, reporting), that month’s fee is non-refundable.
- If you wish to cancel your SEO retainer, please provide written notice at least 14 days before your next billing date. You will not be charged for the following month, and all work completed to date will be delivered to you.
- No refunds are issued for ranking fluctuations caused by Google algorithm updates, competitor activity, or factors outside our direct control.
2.2 Web Design & Development
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required to commence any web design or development project. This deposit covers initial discovery, strategy, wireframing, and design work.
- The remaining balance is due upon project completion and prior to final handover or site launch.
- If you cancel a project after commencement but before completion, the deposit is non-refundable. If work completed exceeds the deposit value, you will be invoiced for the balance of work delivered.
- If Front Optim Digital is unable to complete a project due to circumstances on our end, you will receive a full or partial refund proportionate to work not yet completed.
2.3 Content Writing Services
- Content writing fees are non-refundable once drafts have been delivered to the client for review.
- We offer up to two rounds of revisions on all written content at no additional charge. If content does not meet the agreed brief after two revision rounds, please contact us to discuss a resolution.
- If a content order has been placed but not yet commenced, you may request a full cancellation and refund within 48 hours of payment.
2.4 Social Media Marketing
- Monthly social media management fees are non-refundable once the service period has begun and work has commenced for that month.
- Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing at least 14 days before your next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the following period.
- Any paid advertising budgets (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads) managed on your behalf are separate from our management fees. Unspent ad budgets that belong to your ad account will remain accessible to you. We do not retain unspent ad spend.
2.5 PPC & Paid Advertising Management
- Management fees for PPC campaigns are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced and campaign management has begun.
- Ad spend budgets are paid directly to the advertising platform (Google, Meta, etc.) and are not refundable by Front Optim Digital. Any refunds on ad spend must be requested directly from the respective advertising platform.
- Cancellation of PPC management requires 14 days’ written notice prior to the next billing cycle.
2.6 Digital PR Services
- Digital PR fees are non-refundable once outreach, campaign planning, or content creation has commenced.
- We do not guarantee specific placements, coverage volume, or publication timelines. Digital PR outcomes depend on editorial decisions by third-party publishers, which are beyond our control.
- Any placements secured and links earned prior to cancellation remain the property of the client.
3. Eligibility for Refunds
A full or partial refund may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Duplicate payment — if you have been charged more than once for the same service due to a billing error, you are entitled to a full refund of the duplicate charge.
- Service not commenced — if you have paid for a service that has not yet been started, you may request a full refund within 7 days of payment.
- Material breach by Front Optim Digital — if we have fundamentally failed to deliver the agreed scope of work and have not remedied the failure within a reasonable period, a partial or full refund may be issued at our discretion.
Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences, changes of mind, or results that fall short of a client’s expectations but within the scope of normal service delivery variability.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact us in writing — email us at info@frontoptim.com with the subject line: Refund Request — [Your Name / Company Name].
- Include the following details:
- Your full name and company name
- The service(s) in question
- Invoice number and payment date
- A clear explanation of the reason for your refund request
- Allow up to 5 business days for our team to review your request and respond with a decision.
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel any ongoing service by providing written notice to info@frontoptim.com. The required notice periods are as follows:

Upon cancellation, all work completed to the cancellation date will be delivered to the client, and no further charges will be applied after the notice period has elapsed.
6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
We ask that all billing concerns and refund requests are first raised directly with us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues promptly and fairly.
Unjustified chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in the suspension of services and recovery of any fees, costs, or penalties incurred as a result of the chargeback process.
7. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
